The beginning of NavoTech's activity is above all production of petroleum separators, and to this day several thousand devices have been produced (coalescing separators, lamella separators with settler, vortex) capacity from 0,1 to 800 l/s of nominal flow.

Series of types of devices for separating light liquids are tested according to the procedure of the PN-EN 858 standard at the test station with a capacity of 150 l/s built on the premises of NavoTech. Process efficiency of pollutant separation and hydraulic efficiency are tested, we specify in detail the height of overflow thresholds on storm overflows.

MAK-PE coalescing separators are designed for the treatment of rainwater discharged from roads, car parks, parking and maneuvering yards, as well as technological wastewater from car washes, mechanical workshops, repair shops, gas stations, storage places for vehicle parts, etc.

MAK-PE separator

Mineral suspensions such as sands, mud, ashes and petroleum substances are retained in coascing separators. Coalescing separator MAK-PE is designed to be operated from the ground level without the need to enter the device.

Tanks of MAK-PE coalescing separators in the shape of a cylinder with a vertical axis are made of high-density polyethylene PE-HD based on spiral double-walled pipes with high ring stiffness in the range of SN2÷SN8.

The MAK-PE separator family includes:

  • MAK-PE oil separator - equipped with auto-closing, coalescing insert.
  • MAKO-PE oil separator – equipped with auto-closure, coalescing insert, settler mineral suspensions.
  • MAKH-PE oil separator - equipped with auto-closure, coalescing insert, storm bypass x5 or x10.

MAK-B separator

All materials used in the production of oil separators are neutral to the environment. Monolithic tanks of MAK-B coalescing separators are made of reinforced concrete in C35/45 concrete class with a sealing additive that guarantees watertightness of the entire W-8 tank.

The MAK-B oil separator family includes:

  • MAK-B equipped with auto-closing, coalescing cartridge.
  • MAKO-B equipped with auto-closing, coalescing insert, settling tank for mineral suspensions.
  • MAKH-B equipped with auto-closing, coalescing insert, by-pass x5 or x10.
  • MAKOH-B equipped with auto-closing, coalescing insert, settling tank for mineral suspensions, by-pass x5 or x10.

The petroleum separator is intended for installation:

  • underground in green areas and areas loaded with vehicular traffic,
  • also in the area where mining damage occurs.

Coalescence separators MAK-P integrated with the pump chamber are intended for free-standing installation MAK-WP or underground installation MAK-P (especially for installation in underground car parks of shopping complexes), intended for treatment of rainwater discharged from roads, car parks, parking and maneuvering yards and technological sewage from car washes, mechanical workshops, repair shops, gas stations, storage places for vehicle parts, etc.

MAK-P separator

Mineral suspensions such as sands, mud, ashes and petroleum substances are retained in coalescing separators. The coalescing separator is designed to be operated from the ground level without the need to enter the device.

The pumping system of the MAK-P and MAK-WP separators ensures that treated sewage is raised to the required height when gravity drainage is not possible.

Coalescence separator tanks MAK-P in the shape of a cylinder with a vertical axis are made of high-density polyethylene PE-HD based on spiral double-walled pipes with high circumferential stiffness in the range of SN2÷SN8.
Rectangular tanks of MAK-WP separators are made of high-density polyethylene plates. The proposed separators are easy to install, the smallest devices in the series do not require the use of lifting devices.

The MAK-P separator family includes:

  • MAK-P for underground installation, equipped with auto-closing, coalescing insert, settling tank for mineral suspensions, pump chamber with discharge system and control cabinet,
  • MAK-WP for free-standing installation, equipped with auto-closing, coalescing insert, settling tank for mineral suspensions, pump chamber with discharge system and control cabinet.

The coalescing separator is designed for installation:

  • underground in green areas and areas loaded with vehicular traffic, in the area of ​​mining damage, MAK-P,
  • free-standing in non-freezing rooms, MAK-WP.

Lamella separators SL produced by NavoTech are intended for separating petroleum substances (oils, lubricants, gasoline, etc.). Due to the high hydraulic capacity of up to 10 [l/s], SL lamellar separators are used in rainwater treatment systems from urban catchment systems, in rainwater networks of industrial plants or equipment bases, in drainage systems for roads, as well as car parks, squares maneuvering etc.

SL separator

Basic advantages of using SL separators:

  • the possibility of using complete integrated devices (settling tank and separator) in large urban catchments without losing the efficiency and operating parameters of the entire system (up to 10 [l/s]),
  • the possibility of making and connecting large rain collectors with a nominal diameter of up to 1600 mm to the separators,
  • small depth of the separators with a large working volume of the system and the highest efficiency of impurity separation,
  • for use in areas loaded with vehicular traffic up to 100 [kN/axis],
  • for use in the area of ​​mining damage up to category IV inclusive,
  • for use in sewage systems with a depth of up to 8 m below the ground level.

Lamella separator SL is produced in tanks in the shape of a cylinder with a horizontal axis, in the following material version:

  • POLYETHYLENE SL-PE separator tanks: PE-HD high-density polyethylene based on spiral double-walled pipes with high circumferential stiffness in the range of SN2÷SN8.
  • STEEL SPIRAL SL-R separator tanks: spirally corrugated steel pipes covered on both sides with a layer of TrenchCoating polymer, which significantly increases their anti-corrosion resistance. Spiral pipes and separators made of them can work in the ground at considerable depths, at the ground up to several meters and more.

The SL separator family includes:

  • SL-FOZ-R steel tank, equipped with auto-closing, lamella insert - coalescing, settling tank for mineral suspensions,
  • SL-FOZP-R steel tank, equipped with auto-closing, lamella insert - coalescing, settling tank for mineral suspensions, by-pass x5 or x10,
  • SL-FOZ-KR steel tank, equipped with auto-closing, lamella insert - coalescing, settling tank for mineral suspensions, integrated with a non-return flap,

Lamella separators with a settling tank are devices designed to capture petroleum substances from waste water that cannot be released into the sewage system. Coalescing separator

Coalescing separator is a device designed to isolate and retain both petroleum substances and mineral suspensions (such as sand or sludge) that can be found in runoff rainwater and snowmelt from various types of catchments.

This device has a sealed concrete body that takes the form well with a diameter of 1000 to 3000 mm, or is a separate chamber of a retention tank. This body is so heavy that it does not require additional weight.

Coalescence separators  should be fed by gravity feed. However, if it is necessary sewage pumping, it is recommended to place the pumping station behind the separator.

Lamella separator

Lamella separator is a device designed to isolate and retain both petroleum substances and mineral suspensions (such as sand and sludge) that may occur in rainwater and meltwater from various types of catchment areas. They are usually used in industrial and municipal sewage treatment plants, as well as water treatment plants.

This device consists of concrete body, the dimensions of which may vary depending on specific needs. Inside the body there are vertical partitions, called slats. They are responsible for the separation of petroleum substances and mineral suspensions from water.

Lamella separator it works on the principle of gravity, which means that heavier substances sink to the bottom, while lighter ones float to the surface. This allows for effective separation of fats and oils from water and their safe disposal.

Thanks to its design, the lamella separator is easy to use and maintain, and at the same time guarantees effective performance wastewater treatment.
