Sewage treatment plant service


The service and inspection of the sewage treatment plant is aimed at extending the life of the device, proper management of waste generated during the operation of the device, as well as minimizing breakdowns. Service intervals are set individually depending on the type of device. The scope of work during the current service of the sewage treatment plant is very diverse and depends on the type of device, technology used, etc.

The basic service activities include:
- measurement of mineral substances (slime) in the retention tank,
- cleaning pump impellers and checking the operation of pumping systems,
- cleaning the level sensors,
- cleaning the air filter,
- control of the aeration system operation,
- control of the control system operation,
- measurement of the amount of oxygen in the activated sludge,
- measurement of the amount of activated sludge in the reactor,
- accredited physico-chemical analyzes of wastewater,
- tank cleaning,
- measurement of current consumption of electrical devices.




Pumping stations service


The 'heart' of each pumping station are pumps and their pumping systems. These are the modules most exposed to the effect of exploitation and, therefore, they should be periodically cleaned and their working condition inspected. The pumps are most often controlled by float probes immersed in sewage, which tend to stick with grease, which disrupts the operation of these devices and the entire pumping station.

The basic service activities include:
- cleaning the pump impellers and checking the operation of the discharge systems,
- cleaning float probes or hydrostatic probe,
- control of mechanical ventilation operation,
- control of the control system operation,
- control of the shut-off valves operation,
- control of check valves operation,
- control of the completeness of the device components,
- oil check and possible topping up,
- measurement of current consumption by pumps.


Separators service


Servicing and inspection of separators is primarily the control of the quantity of separated hazardous waste (petroleum hydrocarbons or substances extracting with petroleum ether) and the mineral substances sedimented at the bottom of the device (slime).
Such measurements make it possible to control the functioning of the device. In case of limit values, it is necessary to clean the device and transport the waste to the disposal site.

The basic service activities include:
- measurement of layer thickness of light oils (petroleum hydrocarbons),
- measurement of layer thickness of mineral substances (slimes),
- condition control of coalescing cartridge (or lamella),
- float control and autolock (eventually cleaning),
- pressure cleaning of the coalescing cartridge,
- control of the completeness of the device components.




Neutralizers service


Neutralizers can be more or less developed depending on the function they are to fulfill. The most common and installed as protection against acidic substances getting into the sewage system are not equipped with electrical devices.

The basic service activities include:
- pH measurement of sewage at the inlet and outlet to/from the neutralizer,
- control of the amount of the neutralizing layer and possible replenishment,
- control of the completeness of the device components.

The service of more complex systems is an individual topic depending on the level of the extended device.


Cleaning of water and sewage devices


During the service of water and sewage devices, a number of waste is generated, which must be periodically removed from the device and transported to the disposal or recycling site. This action is obligatory both from the perspective of the correct operation of the agreement as well as from the perspective of the applicable law regulations. In order to provide a comprehensive service both in terms of inspections of water and sewage devices and waste management, NavoTech has undertaken cooperation with many municipal economy plants, thanks to which we can quickly respond to users' problems.

The basic service activities include:
- pumping out the contents of the tank,
- cleaning the tank under pressure,
- pumping out the leachate formed,
- transport and utilization (or recycling) of waste,
- issuing a waste transfer card or a work report.
