NT-OSI-3 - mobile device for measuring the thickness of the layer of mineral suspensions

 

Purpose

The NT-OSI-3 measuring device is used to determine the thickness of the mineral suspension layer in the tanks connected to the rainwater and sanitary sewage system. Measurement of the thickness of the suspension layer retained in the tank enables the estimation of its volume, necessary for removal by the service company. NT-OSI-3 makes it possible to measure the thickness of the layer of mineral suspension without having to enter the interior of the tank. The device enables easy, accurate measurement of the thickness of the suspension layer accumulated in tanks, even with large cavities of devices and small diameter of control holes

Construction and description of working

The device in the form of a measuring cup with a thrust plate is made of corrosion-resistant materials, like PEHD and/or PVC and/or stainless steel, class 0H18N9. In order to measure the mineral suspension, the measuring cup should be gently lowered to the bottom of the chamber until you feel the increased resistance. Record the top level of the sludge. Then press the measuring cup to the bottom of the tank. Record the level. The difference in levels determines the height of the sludge in the chamber. If the sedimentation tank is filled with sludge above 50% of the permissible thickness, the sediment must be removed by a licensed plant

NT-OIL-3 - mobile device for measuring the thickness of the layer of mineral oils

 

Purpose

The NT-OIL-3 measuring device is used to determine the thickness of the layer of oils floated in the separators of petroleum substances used for the treatment of oily rainwater or technological wastewater. The effectiveness of the oil-derivative substances separator is strictly dependent on its proper operation, which requires systematic control of the thickness of the layer of flotated oil substances. Measurement of the layer thickness of the oil retained in the separator enables the estimation of the volume of oil necessary for removal by the service company. NT-OIL-3 makes it possible to measure the thickness of the oil derivative layer without having to enter the separator. The device enables easy, accurate measurement of the thickness of the layer of oil substances accumulated in flotation devices, even with large cavities of devices and small diameter of control holes.

Construction and description of working

The NT-OIL-3 device consists of a calibrated gauge equipped with an electronic sensor and a signaling module. The ruler is protected with a cover which can be used as an extension after removing it. The sensor is housed in a plastic tube with a scale. The sensor located at the end of the gauge responds to the type of medium it is in contact with. If the sensor is immersed in the oil layer, the NT-OIL-3 does not transmit any signals to the outside. Upon contact with the water surface, NT-OIL-3 generates an acoustic signal. The thickness of the oil film is equal to the length of the oil-coated rule to be read off using the measure scale.
