Settlers


Suspension settling tanks are devices for separating and precipitating easily falling suspensions from sewage. In the simplest terms, the operation of settling tanks is based on holding wastewater in slow-flow conditions, thanks to which there is a gravitational separation of two phases: water and suspended particles.

The dimensioning of the settlers is to determine the required usable area, taking into account Stokes law. The depth of the settler is irrelevant. Only the surface of the settling tank is decisive in relation to the flow rate.

Use of NavoTech settlers:

- separation of mineral suspensions from rainwater from roads, parking lots, parking yards and technological wastewater from car washes, mechanical and repair workshops, gas stations, from places where vehicle parts are stored, etc. Mineral suspensions such as sand, mud, ash and parts are retained in sedimentation tanks solid floating, e.g. bags, polystyrene,

- for the separation of organic suspensions built up from economic and technological sewage in places of their excessive formation, e.g. in restaurants, mass catering points, in meat and food processing plants, etc.

PRIM lamella, multi-stream settling tanks


The PRIM mineral suspensions settling tank is a highly efficient multi-stream plate settling tank. The sedimentation package is installed in the device at the right angle. Plate sedimentation guarantees much greater efficiency in the suspension separation process. Plate decanting - works towards the continuous separation of particles of various sizes and weights, improves the settling rate, which means that the capacity of the device can be reduced, unlike static decanting which requires an extremely large volume tank where the settling rate is low.

 

Settling tanks for underground construction made of C35 / 45 class concrete or based on structural, double-walled PE-HD pipes with high ring stiffness from SN2 (as standard) to SN8 or.

PRIM suspension settling tanks in the NavoTech offer:

- PRIM-B a sedimentation tank with a vertical axis, for underground construction, made of concrete,

- PRIM-PE a settling tank with a horizontal axis, for underground construction, made of polyethylene.

According to the requirements of the project, the settling tanks can be used for development in communication routes (roads, maneuvering areas 100 kN / axis) and are intended to be serviced from the ground level without having to enter the device interior.

 


OK-WIR vortex settling tanks


In the OK-WIR sedimentation tank, the sewage is led through a channel tangential to the chamber's perimeter. The sedimentation chamber is located in the central part in the form of a recessed funnel. During the flow of wastewater, apart from swirl in the horizontal plane, secondary vortices also form in the vertical plane, the horizontal velocity is different at different points depending on the distance from the center of the sand trap, which has a positive effect on the deposition of mineral suspensions.

OK gravity settling tanks


Gravity settling tanks are the basic devices used to separate easily falling suspensions from sewage, with a density greater than 1g/cm³. In the most general terms, the operation of settling tanks is based on holding wastewater in slow-flow conditions, thanks to which there is a gravitational separation of two phases: water and suspended particles. The design should take into account the holding time, the surface of the settling tank and the graining curve of the incoming mineral suspension.
